BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — We've got a little while (OK several months) before it's football season.

But it's never too early to start thinking Boise State Football. And, on Wednesday, the Mountain West Conference released the team's 2022 schedule. The Broncos will kick off the season with a matchup against Oregon State in Corvallis on Sept. 3. The following week will be another away game at New Mexico.

BSU's home opener will be against UT Martin Sept. 17. Other notable games will be a home game against BYU Nov. 5 and Utah State Nov. 26.

The 2022 Mountain West championship game will be played on Dec. 3, featuring the Mountain and West Division Champions at a to-be-determined site.
